Vented hats are felt hats with hand cut leather or fabric covered gaskets, and each rivet is set by hand. Embellishments are held on by E-6000.

This hat features a real wood panel on the front. It is a piece of veneer and is very light weight.

My hubby and I live in the desert. Steampunk and Victorian clothing is notoriously hot to wear. When it comes to topping our head with hats on top of that warm clothing, it just seemed unbearable.
